Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in the College of Engineering. The successful candidate will focus on fundamental and applied research in various areas, including Robotics, AI, IoT Wireless Communication, Intelligent UAVs, deep learning, reinforcement learning and planning, artificial evolution, probabilistic reasoning, natural language processing, automation, and other related fields.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research in the areas of Robotics, AI, IoT Wireless Communication, Intelligent UAVs, deep learning, reinforcement learning and planning, artificial evolution, probabilistic reasoning, natural language processing, automation, and other related fields.
• Analyze and interpret data, and prepare research results for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
• Collaborate with other researchers and faculty members to develop research proposals and secure funding from external sources.
• Present research findings at national and international conferences.
• Assists in the preparation of proposals and reports.
• Publishes research results in peer-reviewed scientific or technical journals and present results at external conferences seminars and/or technical meetings.
• Provides training staff, graduate assistants, or student employees.
• Supervise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
• Performs all other related duties as required or assigned by manager.

Qualification

• PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Strong background in one or more of the following areas: Robotics, AI, IoT Wireless Communication, Intelligent UAVs, deep learning, reinforcement learning and planning, artificial evolution, probabilistic reasoning, natural language processing, automation, and other related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and publish research results in peer-reviewed journals.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education

• Doctor of Philosophy (PHD) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Software Engineering or equivalent area.
