Job Summary
Senior lecturer is responsible for all aspects labs/studios as well as teaching approved program courses in accordance with course outlines and as outlined in the college’s workload policy. This involves creating the syllabi, writing and delivering lectures and/or labs/studios experiments, devising study guides, developing and grading homework and labs/studios assignments, writing and grading exams, holding regular office hours, creating and maintaining a class web site, and handling all administrative aspects of the lab/course being taught.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Reviews and maintains the integrity of the curriculum offered by the college in collaboration with the Department Chair and other full-time faculty in the department.
- Supervises laboratory/studio classes and takes care of laboratory/studios development and operations.
- Teaches professional program courses, laboratories, and studios in accordance with course outlines and as outlined in the college’s workload policy.
- Participates in instructor evaluation, assessment of student academic achievement and demonstrates modification of teaching techniques in accordance with assessment feedback.
- Establishes instructional standards in accordance with college policies and informs students, in writing (syllabi), of such standards and policies.
- Designs and develops undergraduate and graduate laboratories aligned with curriculum and University objectives.
- Develops and explains methods that fairly measure student progress toward course objectives.
- Develops laboratory assignments and exams and evaluate students’ work fairly to ensure measurement of students’ progress toward course objectives.
- Maintains accurate records of student progress and submit final grade rosters to division administrator each semester according to established deadlines.
- Posts and maintains regular office hours to ensure accessibility to colleagues and students for advisement and consultation.
- Maintains awareness of new instructional technology advances in teaching and learning theory and applies where appropriate.
- Provides students with lab/studio equipment and ensures students receiving equipment signify receipt.
- Participates in evaluative process for self, department, and the college program.
- Conducts independent professional research or readings beyond that necessary to meet normal course/lab preparation requirements.
- Develops and grade homework, assignments, and exams for both labs and courses.
- Contributes and involves in the administrative assignments thru various committees, university services and social responsibilities
- Performs all duties in a professional, effective, and confidential manner.
- Performs all other related duties as required or assigned by the Manger.

Preffered Qualification & Experience
- Master’s degree in simulation education, Medical Education. Health Profession Education, Interprofessional Education or equivalent from an accredited institute.
- Minimum of (03) years of experience in teaching, academic achievement, or related fields.
