Job Description
Teaching:
- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in Molecular Medicine and related medical education topics, with a specific focus on cancers.
- Develop and update curriculum materials related to oncology, incorporating the latest research and best practices in medical education.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance student learning and engagement in the context of oncology.
- Design and implement effective assessment strategies to evaluate student learning outcomes related to oncology.
- Contribute to the development of new medical education programs or initiatives focused on oncology.
Research
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in areas related to cancer research.
- Secure funding, publish research findings in high-impact peer-reviewed journals, and present at national and international conferences.
- Supervise postgraduate research students and contribute to the research environment within oncology.
- Collaborate with established researchers on ongoing projects related to cancers.
Administration
- Contribute to the administration of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Molecular Medicine, with a focus on oncology education.
- Participate in departmental meetings and committees, advocating for the advancement of oncology research and education.
- Serve as a mentor and advisor to students, particularly those interested in pursuing careers in oncology.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Preffered Qualification & Experience
- PhD in Molecular Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field, with a demonstrated research focus on cancer biology.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the university level, preferably with experience in medical education related to oncology.
- A strong publication record in high-impact peer-reviewed journals (IF > 7), particularly in research relevant to cancers.
- Experience in using innovative teaching methods and educational technologies.
- Strong commitment to student learning and mentorship, especially within the context of oncology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
