The Department of Chemistry at Alfaisal University invites applications for an Assistant Professor faculty position in Environmental/Analytical Chemistry. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in environmental chemistry or related fields and demonstrated ability or potential for a recognized program of excellence in both teaching and research. The candidate is expected to be involved in interdisciplinary research in environmental science, materials science, and analytical science and mentor undergraduate and graduate (M.S.) students. A successful candidate must have a strong research record and teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with postdoctoral or other relevant experiences including research, teaching, curriculum design, or program development. The candidate is expected to teach undergraduate chemistry and environmental science & sustainability courses for science and engineering students and graduate courses in his/her field of specialty. Other responsibilities include academic advising, curriculum development, committee service, and other duties required to meet departmental and organizational needs. The candidate is expected to have excellent communication skills and adaptability to working in a multicultural environment
