Job Summary

The Infographic Design Specialist will be responsible for creating materials for visual storytelling using innovative data visualization techniques. This role requires processing data to produce compelling, clear, concise, and visually engaging infographic, motion graphics and other data visualization products to cater to different goals, audiences, and platforms- including but not limited to marketing collateral, social media posts, magazines, detailed reports, and presentations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensures brand guidelines are followed for all communications internally & externally.
• Develops, updates, and revises all Alfaisal University branding, guidelines, process & procedures.
• Provides solutions based on an understanding and expertise of design principles like composition, hierarchy, color theory, and typography etc.
• Designs and produces visual materials including infographic, animations, interactive infographics, and other data visualization products.
• Develops visual themes, layouts, branding for campaigns and other marketing collaterals.
• Communicates with different requestors and stakeholders, understanding and researching the briefs and presenting creative solutions tailored to the specific case.
• Processes data to devise accurate and effective visual narratives.
• Identifies and advises on the most impactful medium to communicate a given data set to an audience and transform the same messaging for different stakeholders.
• Obtains approval of concept by submitting draft layout for approval.
• Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, Facility Department.
• Reviews professional publications, and designs inspirations.
• Supervises and supports any new graphic designing candidate for MC Department.
• Develops and submits a weekly task report & a monthly report on the number of design services serviced.
• Contributes to the design and production of the annual department report.
• Performs all duties in a professional, effective, and confidential manner.
• Performs all other related duties as required or assigned by the line manager.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Information Design or equivalent from an accredited institute.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in infographic design or related fields.
