Overview

Job Summary

Responsible for performing and processing all duties, responsibilities and tasks related to recruitment and assisting in the selection process. Duties will focus on the maintenance of full staffing of all departments within the university, thus in accordance with the overall Alfaisal’s Human Resources plan and in the progressive Saudization of university staff.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists the HR Operation Manager in coordinating the manpower needs for Alfaisal University through liaising with department heads.
  • Screens all applications received; conducts screening interviews; conducts reference checks listed on applications by telephone or correspondence; and assures proper files and records are kept concerning applicants.
  • Assists HR Operation Manager in finding qualified candidates through different recruitment channels and sources.
  • Develops a well-organized database for CVs to facilitate an easy and fast way of searching for CVs.
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications to facilitate better filtration of CVs.
  • Performs recruitment process job advertisements through external or/and internal resources.
  • Filters candidates upon requirements, to be submitted to HR Operations Manager.
  • Schedules interviews and assessments with candidates.
  • Prepares newcomers contracts for both admin and faculty staff.
  • Provides information regarding AU’s policies and procedures to reply to any queries to internal/ local/ international candidates.
  • Prepares and updates Faculty/Admin Hiring Plan Table on monthly basis to be reviewed.
  • Coordinates with Government Relations Department regarding visas and different types of contracts to facilitate single point of reference for the employees.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and managing with local/oversees recruitment agencies and universities to assist recruitment activities from external or internal resources to have a CV bank to use when needed.
  • Prepares and reviews the Recruitment Report, monitoring for consistency with the Alfaisal Personnel Requisition Status Report.
  • Prepares Manpower Reports and other recruitment statistical reports periodically and as required.
  • Performs all duties in a professional, effective, and confidential manner.
  • Performs all other related duties as required or assigned by manager.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent from an accredited institute.
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience working in Human Resources, recruitment/Personnel or related fields (Desirable).
