Job Summary
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating and executing Alfaisal University's social media strategy to enhance our online presence, expand our brand marketing reach, and engage with our target audience. This job requires excellent communication and analytical skills to stay up to date with the latest social media trends and deeply understand social media platforms and tools. Additionally, creative interaction with current and potential audiences can be achieved through the university's official social media channels. The main goal of this role is to increase engagement and impressions by working on various campaigns.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops and executes social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across various platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Creates consistent content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns that promote Alfaisal Brand.
- Monitors and analyzes social media metrics and performance to optimize strategies and campaigns.
- Researches and understands the needs of the target audiences and comes with new communication ideas.
- Manages social media advertising campaigns and budgets to drive traffic and conversions.
- Tracks metrics such as customer engagement and conversion rates to identify ways they can improve during future marketing campaigns on social media posts.
- Generate monthly reports and analyzing data to create presentations/reports on that analysis to deliver to upper management.
- Produces all market research and surveys conducted at every event with a specific objective and ensures reports are submitted on time to increase engagement and impressions working on campaigns.
- Ensures that Alfaisal University has a presence at all internal and external events, booths, or others with the appropriate messaging.
- Conducts research opportunities for new social marketing platforms and select adapt current process to fit client needs.
- Performs all duties in a professional, competent, and confidential manner.
- Performs all other related duties as required or assigned by the line manager.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relation, Business Administration, or equivalent from an accredited institute.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Marketing or Public Relations or related fields.
