Job Summary

Responsible for developing an annual events and activities calendar for the university that incorporates all college, department and university events ensuring they are supported, planned for and announced in a timely manner and post evaluation made for all activities. You will also be responsible for creating new activities, inviting new events to be held at Alfaisal that uphold the image and reputation of the institution. You will manage all visits and enquiries for leasing of the spaces we offer for rental and ensure that the leasing materials are up to date. Supports the presidents, top management offices through providing protocol services either by supporting them or any university guest.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Plans, develops, and handles Alfaisal University events and activities by using and utilizing all the department services and issuing an annual calendar of events- these events will be listed in the Home Page
    Activities includes: (online, on campus, external ) ; lectures, seminars, symposiums, exhibitions, bazars, receptions
  2. Provides public relations & protocol arrangement to the president and upper management’s offices, and guests internally and externally.
  3. Communicate & update MC team on all event/ activity requests on a weekly basis
  4. Cultivates and builds relationships within the university community to support and service needs of its departments. Maintains appropriate contact with all divisions.
  5. Maintains and builds professional relationships with external events companies and forms database.
  6. To log and document accurate records of events and activities that have been covered and supported by MC department in form of monthly & individual reports, with images, outcome etc.
  7. Assists and supports in the event planning and execution for colleges and student wide events, designing announcements, post event surveys post event reports
  8. Produces weekly status reports and monthly activity reports for line manager.
  9. Ensures all leasing inquiries are scheduled, logged and managed with a monthly enquiries report
  10. Ensures that all leasing opportunities are clearly communicated in Social Media & Website
  11. Performs all other duties assigned to by the department head and supervisor



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Public Relation or equivalent from accredited institute (Essential).
  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in Marketing, Sales, Public Relations or related fields (Essential).
